I’ve seen this happen time after time.
Some emergency or circumstance will occur requiring a leader to be away for a while. Teammates not usually called upon rally. They pick up responsibilities. They take on accountability. Things get done. Sometime better than normal.
It underscores the fact: we all have more in us than we use. There’s another gear. There are inches we can reach. There are extra laps we can run.
What if we did that without emergencies making it necessary?
