“What if instead of waiting for good enough things to happen to us, we could be the good thing to happen to someone else who’s waiting?” Ann Voskamp
Short note today. This quote reminded me today of an article I read earlier. It said that gratitude and service are major contributors to our mental health.
The research says that when you find yourself in a “down” place, you can intentionally change your mental attitude by helping someone else or reminding yourself of the things for which you are grateful.
So, that’s another “happening to the world” strategy. If you don’t like what is happening to you, don’t wait for something good to happen. Go out and make something good happen.
