CELEBRATING LOVE ON VALENTINE’S DAY

Valentine’s Day celebrates love. Here’s my favorite piece of literature regarding the topic:

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

  • Love is patient, kind, not envious, not proud.
  • Love honors others. It always gives respect.
  • Love is generous. It values truth, the facts.
  • Love is humble. It places others in front.
  • Love rejoices in getting things right and doing things well.
  • One who loves is distinctive by their trust and trustworthiness. They have your back.
  • Love doesn’t give up. Love promotes hope.

It’s been said that love is the “killer app.” It works in all seasons and all settings.

Love isn’t soft. It’s fierce. Unyielding. Only the highly dedicated can do it unconditionally.

Celebrate love today. Commit to taking your love to another level as you continue.
