Choosing the Path of Courage: Lessons in Leadership

Everyone travels a road.

Every trail has forks.

Every fork has choices.

Usually, one is well-traveled. The other is not. You get to pick.

In his poem β€œThe Road Not Taken,” Robert Frost says choosing the one β€œless traveled” can make an enormous difference.

To me, choosing the less traveled path means:

  • I have courage.
  • I’m willing to do what others won’t.
  • The adventurous will have a richer life than those who follow.

Once you go down the less traveled path and experience the outcomes, you’ll be more likely to do it again.

Leadership isn’t a title or a status. Leaders make a difference where their feet are planted. They choose actions designed to create change.

Chances are you are at a fork today. Take a serious look at the choices you make. LeanΒ toward boldness. See what you learn and accomplish.
