DEFINING THE DIRECTION YOU WANT TO GO

“Courage is the difference between dreaming of the life you want and living the life of your dreams.” – Edwin McManus

Are you putting something on the line today?

Reading something new?

Trying to reach a goal?

Learning a new skill?

Traveling a different path?

We get stuck in the same ol’ same ol’ sometimes. We’d like to see our lives change for the better. We can imagine an improved future, but we fail to take steps to improve it.

Yesterday, we challenged our leadership team to spend some time defining our current state of affairs and projecting what we intend the situation to be next year.

Once we define the direction we want to go, we can begin to take steps in that direction. Once you write it down, you refer to it regularly to see what progress is made. Piece by piece, you begin to make a difference.

Consider where you want to go. Write it down. Make a little progress. Stack days on top of days. You’ll be surprised at how far you get.

Courage means you act. You try new things. You go after what inspires you. No holding back.
