How often do you learn or do something new?

How often do you learn or do something new?

Gallup surveys the public. Their method is to research how people answer questions and match that up to how people perform.

According to Gallup, people who say that they try to learn or do something new every day, double their chances of well-being in their lives.

It makes sense, doesn’t it?

If you are trying to learn you are curious. As you learn, new possibilities arise. As you explore the potential, opportunities arise. It’s sort of like having the thrill of a new romance or seeing a new place.

It’s a virtuous cycle. The more you learn. The more you see. The more you see, the more you want to learn.

But, if you aren’t in the habit of being curious, of planning on trying new things, of scanning for opportunities to experiment-the statistics, say your off the path that leads to well-being.
