We believe in “happening to the world.” That means that whatever circumstances we face, those who “happen to the world” will attack rather than withdraw, engage rather than settle.
I saw this on Twitter, posted by Drew Maddox:
“You are responsible for your effort.
You are responsible for your attitude.
You are responsible for your mindset.
You are responsible for your unselfishness.
You are responsible for what kind of teammate you are.
Own what you can own.”
What level is your effort? Could you do more?
How’s your attitude? Have you bought in?
Is your mindset fixed, meaning there’s no improvement possible? Or do you believe that through effort, resilience, and creativity you can make it better?
Are you selfish or selfless?
Are you a teammate that folks want to model?
