βItβs doing, not hoping, that makes a difference.
Itβs doing, not wishing, that makes a difference.
Itβs doing, not planning, that makes a difference.
Itβs doing, not knowing, that makes a difference.β
Andy Stanley shared this lesson about what to do when life isnβt what you want it to be. His focus? βDoing.β It was a straightforward message:
First, he urges us to stop doing the things that hold us back. We all have habits or actions that donβt contribute to our best selves or our best teams. He reminds us to recognize and stop them.
Second, we must start doing the things we know will contribute to our success. Thatβs the reason behind the statements at the beginning of this note.
So often, we hope and wish for a better situation. We create plans for improvement. Yet, we often donβt reach these better situations because we never take action to make them real.
You know the path to a better situation. You can do it. Get started.
